This movie was hilarious and touching. John Hawkes, playing the severely disabled Mark O'Brien, gives an excellent performance and delivers lines just at the right time to keep the tough subject matter on an enjoyable plain for everyone. I couldn't believe this was Hawkes as he surely lost a lot of weight for this role and certainly looked very different than his other roles. While a lot of talk is going on about Hunt and her role here, I thought Hawkes gave the superior performance and will hopefully be up for an award or two coming up.

That being said, Hunt still has it after lots of years. In fact, this is one of the most enjoyable and likable characters I've ever seen her play. And my oh my does she have a great body for a 50-year-old woman. She's not shy about showing it all off and it really is great to see how comfortable she is with herself.

The chemistry between the two characters is excellent as well. Hunts upbeat portrayal and ability to talk really help and overall the two go well together.

I didn't realize this was based off a true story. Pretty incredible and awesome.

My Conclusion:

See this film for the chemistry and humor.
